I've been building websites for several years and am prepared to build you an advertising website including hosting at a fraction of the cost that you would have to pay a business service. Also, because I'm a childminder myself, and have been for 25 years, I know what parents need to know when looking at advertising, I understand about childcare policies and procedures and what needs to be in your site.

If you would like your own website, for a one off payment of £35 (+ £8 if you need me to purchase a domain name on your behalf) I could create for you:

• A website built AND hosted for one year (up to 8 pages)
• Pages to suit your needs i.e. policies, details about you and your family, menus, links page, your qualifications. All based on the information that you supply to me.
• Your own dedicated email address (e.g. info@ yourwebsite.co.uk)
• A guestbook for visitors to your site to sign, if you would like one.
• Updates throughout the year as necessary i.e. price changes, change of address, additional qualifications (major changes by arrangement)
• Full site submission to major search engines and the creation of a Google Site Map

Domain Name: (e.g. www.yourchoiceofnamehere.co.uk) As with any hosting and website you will also need a domain name. You have three choices:

1. These have to be purchased separately and I can do it for you for just £8 (this is for two years registration after which it must be renewed)
2. You can buy your own domain from another registry and I can link to it at no extra charge.
3. If you already own your domain then I can link to it at no extra charge.

Would it really be £35 - no catches?! No there's no catches, just £35* will give you a website of up to 8 pages (more by arrangement) based on one of the samples - these can be customised to your own needs. If you have your own logo that can be incorporated into the site. Your site will then be hosted for one year either to your existing domain or the one you purchase separately.

Why is it so much cheaper than professional services? Because I'm not doing it to make a big profit, I work from home and don't employ staff. I'm not a business, it's a hobby, I love making websites and will enjoy doing one for you.

What if I would like more than 8 pages? This can be arranged at an extra cost

I already have my own domain name, can I use that? Yes your own domain name can be used with the new website at no extra charge.

The themes are not what I want can you do any others? It might be possible depending on what you want. There would be an extra cost as it would take more time to design one from scratch - please ask for details

Will my site get noticed? Yes, because your site will be associated with Childminding Help and a link added to the 'Associated Childcare Websites' page, whenever Childminding Help is viewed by a parent they will also be able to view your site. I can also arrange mutual links with another advertising site and you can also add your site to the Childminding Forum childminder's website list. I will also submit your site to the main search engines free of charge and create (again totally free of charge) a Google Site Map which I submit on your behalf. I can also advise you on places to advertise your website.

Can the website be advert free? Yes for a small extra charge of £10 per year you can have a totally advert free site.

Can I talk to you before deciding? Yes of course, please do. Before parting with any money we can discuss what you would like so that we both know that it's possible. What happens after the first year? I will contact you to discuss having your website hosted for a further year, if you do not wish to continue with your site you will be under no obligation to do so.
