Would the Web Builder options really be £45/£55 - no catches?! No there's no catches, just £45 or £55 for advert free will give you a website of up to 8 pages (more by arrangement, see optional extras) based on one of the samples - these can be customised to your own needs. If you have your own logo that can be incorporated into the site. Your site will then be hosted for one year.
Why is it so much cheaper than professional services? Because I'm not doing it to make a big profit, I work from home and don't employ staff. I love making websites and do it as more of a paid hobby and will enjoy doing one for you.
What if I would like more than 8 pages? This can be arranged at an extra cost, see optional extras
I already have my own domain name, can I use that? Yes your own domain name can be used with the new website at no extra charge.
The themes are not what I want can you do any others? It might be possible depending on what you want. There would be an extra cost as it would take more time to design one from scratch - please see 'optional extras' for details.
How do I send you information for the website? Information can be sent in word.doc, AppleWorks or Pages for Mac or simply written into an email. You can even write it all out and post it to me. Some people email me their childminding parent packs and I take out the relevant information to suit the website. It is entirely up to you how you send it.
Will my site get noticed? Yes, because your site will be associated with Childminding Help and a link added to the 'Associated Childcare Websites' page, whenever Childminding Help is viewed by a parent they will also be able to view your site by visiting that page. You can also add your site to the Childminding Forum childminder's website list. I will also submit your site to the main search engines and create a Google Site Map which I submit on your behalf. I can also advise you on places to advertise your website.
Can the website be advert free? Yes, please see 'Option 2' on the pricing page
Can I talk to you before deciding? Yes of course, please do. Before parting with any money we can discuss what you would like so that we both know that it's possible. I want you to be happy with your site and will work with you to ensure you are! You can email me using the link below. What happens after the first year? I will contact you to discuss having your website hosted for a further year, if you do not wish to continue with your site you will be under no obligation to do so.
